Service terms
Website and Service Terms
The current public service boundary for the global OPTAX website, accounts, Financial Center, AI-assisted outputs, and market-specific services.
1. Operator and Scope
OPTAX is an AI CFO and Financial Center product of OPTAXEL LLC, registered in Delaware, United States. These terms describe the current public service boundary for the website and general product workflow.
Product flows may request or record separate confirmations only when a specific action requires them, such as registration, a banking connection, checkout, or another market-owned workflow.
2. General Service
The Financial Center may support:
- Financial record and evidence organization.
- Source-backed financial readbacks, reports, and period review.
- CFO Lens signals, explanations, and suggested next actions.
- Advisor handoff materials and market-specific outputs where available.
Capabilities, pricing, availability, and legal terms can differ by market. A market page describes only a service that is currently live.
3. AI and Professional Review
AI can organize records, summarize evidence, identify questions, and suggest next actions. AI output may be incomplete, outdated, or wrong and must remain reviewable against the available sources.
The service is not a law firm, accounting firm, audit firm, investment adviser, or substitute for licensed professional judgment. Users remain responsible for business decisions and for obtaining professional review where the matter requires it.
4. Accounts and Acceptable Use
- Provide accurate account and company information.
- Protect account credentials and authorized access.
- Review outputs before relying on them or sharing them with another person.
- Use the service only for lawful business purposes and within the permissions available to the account.
5. Markets, Pricing, and Billing
Market-specific pricing, billing intervals, refund rules, service boundaries, and consent notices are shown on the applicable market pages and in supported checkout or account flows. Canada is the first live market; its current service terms are available in the Canada Terms.
6. Data and Privacy
Users retain ownership of uploaded data and provide a limited permission to process that data for the selected service. Data handling is described in the Privacy Notice, AI Data Processing, and applicable regional notices.
7. Intellectual Property and Availability
The website, software, product content, and service functionality are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. The service may change, be interrupted, or be unavailable, and no unsupported market, outcome, certification, or integration is promised by these terms.
8. Governing Law and Updates
This public page does not name a governing-law jurisdiction. Any binding dispute or transaction-specific terms must be shown in writing before being relied on for paid use.
Material updates are posted by changing the effective date. A product flow may request renewed confirmation when a change affects account use, billing, banking data, or another action-specific permission.
